"This is only getting two stars instead of one because I guess I still have car insurance. I just moved from AZ to SC. I already had State Farm, and enjoy having an insurance agent I can go to in person to discuss my policies and potential price increases with. My previous State Farm agent recommended me to this agency. I can honestly say, it has been far from a smooth transition. The communication has been terrible. The understanding of policy was met with "Charleston has the 2nd highest rates in the country" and "I'm sorry I'm not familiar with the new system". That should've been my red flag to walk out (I didn't). Sidebar to the point, I originally informed them that I was moving from AZ, and once I have my registration and license switched, I will be by to switch my insurance as well. I also wanted to them to cancel to policies that only applied to AZ (was told to just not pay it and it will cancel on it's own. That is reassuring). I got consistently called for a few weeks from this agency constantly asking me if I had taken care of this switch yet, so I can switch my insurance. For anyone who has ever moved across the country, they know how annoying it is to have your phone flooded with things that are in the process of being handled. I was nice and consistently reminded them that I would be down as soon as I switched my documents to SC. Back to the point, I finally got it taken care of, and once I did show up to the office. I have had nothing but trouble ever since. I have now paid $500 in car insurance in the last three weeks to State Farm, and was told it was going to be credited to my account. However, it has not and I now somehow owe another $33 in about a week. So in total, I have paid $533 to State Farm for 4.5 weeks of car insurance on a single car? That makes sense. I asked the agent as to why, she said it would be "credited or sometimes they mail a check" (again very reassuring). It clearly has not. I called the corporate line, they said I would have to reach out to the agent. They also said they would leave a message for the agent to get back to me. The agent has not. Really hoping someone sees this and decides to actually get in contact with me and tell me my business is being taken care of.

I even asked my previous agent, and he spent 30 minutes trying to figure it out for me; however, he could not."
